Contraindications
While the Maya Abdominal Massage is a non-invasive
and benign procedure, there are times and occasions when
it would not be appropriate. Your therapist will therefore need
to ask certain questions at the time of booking to confirm your suitability for the treatment.
We will not be able to provide a massage:
• During or immediately before menstruation
• Within 3-6 months of abdominal surgery
• When there is an active infection or cancer in the pelvic area
• When a contraceptive intrauterine device (IUD) is fitted |
