Sulis Therapies

Sulis
is an ancient British Goddess responsible for healing, fertility and medicine. Her major shrine was AquaSulis which is now the centre of modern Bath. Sulis’ teachings were to help us understand the dance between illness and health., to learn to listen to our bodies and heed those messages.

When we are tired our body needs to rest, when we experience ill health it is time to let go of everything and make ourselves the priority, this is not selfishness but self preservation. If we can not look after ourselves how can we care for others and fulfill our responsibilities?
The Maya tradition focuses on the connection between emotional and physical illness, as both must be addressed to assist a person to wellness. and Sulis echo this concept.

“Hilary Lewin and her therapy has quite literally changed my life. I am perimenopausal and suffer with endometriosis. After 3 sessions with Hilary I am now back under control, and able to function as a normal person which has pleased my partner and employer no end". Kay
